for our students' families as low as possible, District III no longer
offers "family" rates, "student" rates and
"senior" rates.
MMEA Institutional Fee:
If a school does not provide their MMEA Institutional Number as
proof of their payment of the Institutional fee, an extra $20 must be
enclosed for each festival for which that school registers.
If it is not, the "no pay, no play" policy will apply.
Adjudicators' Fees:
- $20.00 per hour.
-
Applies to: Solo & Ensemble, Jazz (group adjudication), Jazz
Honors auditions, Junior High Honors auditions & Senior High
Honors auditions.
-
-
Since groups attending the Jazz (group adjudication) Festival have
the opportunity to advance to a State level Jazz Festival,
adjudication fees are set by State guidelines which supercede
District policies. Check the latest MMEA Handbook for all Jazz
Festival details.
Mileage Fees:
- 40¢ per mile
-
paid to: Exec. Board members who attend Exec. Board meetings,
Adjudicators, Festival Conductors and Accompanists.

-
Factors taken into consideration: number of students/groups
involved, size of audience for performance, number of days included
in the festival.
-
If 25% of the gate is larger than the designated host fee, the host
gets 25% of the gate instead.
